The Bambu Lab Carbon X1 Carbon Combo is a revolutionary new 3D printer including AMS recently released by a team of ex-DJI employees. Boasting a wealth of new features which includes the perfect first layer with automatic mesh bed levelling utilising AI detection to accurately measure and notify the user of any errors. A lidar sensor measures the extrusion width before each print to automatically achieve the perfect layer consistency when printing at the unbelievable speeds this printer is capable of. The Carbon X1 is capable of printing in speeds of up to 500m/s meaning a typical 3DBenchy can be completed in 16 minutes!!

Q: What is the difference between the X1 Carbon and the P1P?

A: Both printers have the same chassis, carbon rods, and CoreXY design, making them very fast and stable. The X1 Carbon is a fully enclosed printer with a hardened steel nozzle that can print exotic materials like carbon fibre filament. It also includes a Lidar sensor for bed levelling and error detection. On the other hand, the P1P is a barebones printer with no covers and a stainless steel nozzle. It has a textured PEI sheet for the print bed, a touchpoint auto bed levelling system, and no filtration system. While both printers have similar print quality and speed, the X1 Carbon is better suited for high-temperature and abrasive materials, while the P1P is more suitable for printing with PLA, PETG or TPU
